I really would love to keep this mare and futurity her. However, we do buy and sell horses, so it makes sense to put a price on her. So she is priced at $9K and her price will go up after she is easily lounged with a saddle on. Her price will go up again after 30 days under saddle with Garrett Kerkow. (Which is temporarily scheduled for December-January)
Right now, I can lounge her at a trot and lope, but some days, it’s a job at a lope. If there is more commotion or horses tempt her to spend time with them vs me she loses focus on me. My goal is to saddle her before December 1st, but I will not hurry the process, so it might be longer.
